Kelly Clarkson has confirmed that Blake Shelton will be officiating her wedding, when she marries his manager Brandon Blackstock in December.
The American Idol winner confirmed at backstage at the Academy of American Country Music Awards in Las Vegas last night that Shelton will be playing a pretty important role in the ceremony when the 30 year-old ties the knot with her fiance.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Kelly told Nancy O'Dell that The Voice star will be officiating the wedding as well as performing when the couple wed later this year.
Shelton recently admitted he was over the moon that his friends were getting hitched.
He said in an interview on US TV with Lon Helton: “We’ve been friends now for a few years…and now, to see one of my best friends engaged to another one of my best friends, it’s so cool how all that happened.
“I just think they’re perfect for each other. I just think it’s really neat to have been a witness to all of this. I’m very happy for them.”

Kelly announced her engagement to Brandon in December 2012 after just a year of dating. She wrote on Twitter: I'M ENGAGED!!!!!"
