Doctor Who landed back on our TV screens last night as the second half of series 7 kicked off with Matt Smith joined by (almost) newbie Jenna-Louise Coleman.
The episode saw The Doctor finding himself face-to-face with Clara Oswald who enlists the Time Lord's help in relocating the internet. Things started to get messy when the enigmatic Celia Imrie appeared, hellbent on hoovering up human minds on behalf of a mysterious client.
As well as pointing out the dangers of WiFi the episode saw the Doctor and Clara rekindle that flirtatious friendship we all so loved in the Christmas 2012 episode and it appears that chemistry was a huge hit with viewers who took to Twitter to post their thoughts on the explosive episode.
@sparkymist summed it up with "Oh man the new Doctor Who episode was amazing, so worth the long wait : )"
It's back! Doctor Who returned to TV screens last night (BBC)
@raindance_dani picked up on one of the most memorable parts of the episode which saw cheeky Clara refer to the infamous Tardis as Matt Smith's 'snogging booth', "Doctor Who was so good. Lovin the snog box" wrote the fan.
@sillysilly1126 added "Wow! Welcome Back Doctor Who! Really really love The Bells of St. John! New Tardis desktop, love the plot, adore Clara. And yes, Matt Smith."
@ThobePatrol wasn't quite so keen though, tweeting "Doctor who episode was so wack, very disappointed. I swear Matt Smith has nothing on David Tennant."
Well that fan will be pleased with yesterday's news that Tennant and his popular companion Billie Piper will be back for the 50th anniversay special later this year!
