Amid the speculation that Tulisa could allegedly be leaving the X Factor, the show's supremo Simon Cowell has admitted that he has previously asked rocker David Bowie to be a judge on the show.
Speaking about the iconic 70's rocker and his desire to get him sitting on the panel and judging talent, Simon told the Mail Online:
"I think if I could have anyone on The X Factor it would be David Bowie. It’s no secret I’ve asked him, and he hasn’t said yes yet, but I’ll keep extending the invitation. Why Bowie? He’s a legend.
"He’s a great songwriter, he has massive influence on music today and he’s 100 per cent credible. I’m a fan. Not just of his music but of him, the man. He’s cool. Most of us aren’t. Bowie is."

Meanwhile, One Direction have claimed that they would be living very different lives if it wasn't for Simon Cowell decision to put them together in a band on the X Factor in 2010. Talking to the Metro, Louis Tomlinson commented: “I would be struggling my way through education or a life of crime.”
Whilst Niall Horan added: “I would have been at university, and a life of crime as well.”
Admitting that he could have been a fireman, Liam Payne added: “If One Direction never happened I would be working in a factory or be a fireman."
