Stoker stars Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman have revealed how they bonded on set, with the elder Aussie actress revealing at the film's gala premiere in Soho how she was unbelieveably impressed by Mia's intellect, and the younger actress calling Nic an, “acting legend”.
Park Chan-wook's film sees Wasikowska play India, a troubled but quiet 18-year-old girl, with Nicole as mum Evelyn who brings the strange figure of her daughter's uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode) into their house.
“It was pretty great she's such an incredible acting legend, and she's obviously like a huge role model for me so.. We had like two weeks of rehearsals and we really just talked about it and read through some of the scenes so yeah it was pretty cool,” Mia said.
Nicole recipricated the love between the Aussie co-stars, taking joy from the fact that she believed Mia was making amazing career choices.

“It's so beautiful seeing somebody's career beginning and they're making all the right choices and you see her, I say this, I mean she sits on the set and I say 'what are you reading'? And she was reading Chekov, and I went 'Ah, there's the girl that I love',” Nic added.
Sounding a little mumsy towards Mia she continued: “You don't see young people doing that these days, instead they're on their phones tweeting and texting, which, that's fine but at the same time you need to educate yourself.”
Aww! Well it seems like these two Aussie actresses have really bonded on the set, and with Stoker winning rave early reviews, fans may enjoy the movie as much as the pair did making it.
Stoker gets its UK release on March 1.
