Prince William Planning To 'Spoil Kate Middleton With Push Presents Including Mustique Villa And Diamonds'

Duke of Cambridge already has some gifts in mind

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is currently enjoying a sunshine break in Mustique with her family including husband Price William, but the royal mum-to-be is reportedly going to be just as spoilt when she gets home as Wills plans some super luxurious baby gifts.

It's become somewhat of a tradition for dads-to-be to present their partners with a 'push present' when their baby arrives and true to form William is allegedly planning to buy Kate a whole heaps of gifts.

These gifts won't be your average trinkets though as the Prince is reportedly planning to splash out,  buying Kate a luxury villa on Mustique where they're currently holidaying. According to Now Magazine, the prince will purchase the villa out of his own private funds, and sees it as the perfect gift for the privacy loving couple.

Despite the media intrusion this week which has resulted in bikini shots of the pregnant Duchess being published in magazines abroad, the couple are still said to be big fans of the mix of privacy and luxury Mustique allows them to experience.

A holiday home isn't the only gift lucky Kate can expect when she gives birth in July though, according to the insider. Wills will also apparently splash the cash on a new set of crown jewels for his wife. The report in Now states that in the past Kate has had to borrow regal jewellery for official engagements but not for much longer:

"He'll commission a new set to celebrate the birth of their first child, having already received permission directly from the Queen. Kate will be given a sparkly new tiara, earrings, bracelets and rings, which she'll wear for significant occasions - most importantly when William finally ascends to the throne."

The Royal family usually commission jewellers G Collins & Sons Limited to create gems as wedding gifts but for her own big day in 2011, Kate wore the Cartier Halo tiara made for the Queen Mother in 1936. The source reveals: "William thought this would be the perfect time for Kate to have something of her own instead."

Meanwhile Kate and William will be jetting back home soon with the Duchess committed to four official enegagements in the coming weeks. The couple are also preparing for their big move to Apartment 1A, the 21-room flat within Kensington Palace, later this month.
