Mariah Carey took some time off from work to celebrate Christmas for the second time on Friday night.
The singer, 42, is in New York which has been battered by snowstorm Nemo but Mariah braved the hurricane-force winds and blizzard conditions to venture out onto the city streets.
The American Idol judge stepped out into the freezing weather to drive around the Big Apple after feeling festive thanks to the snow.
Wrapping up warm in a black jacket with a faux fur collar, Mariah posed for a picture on a deserted street and posted it on Twitter for fans.

She wrote: “I repeat Christmas extravaganza has begun! If you live in NYC watch for us in our party Christmas SUV classic baby!”
The star also posted a snap of some Santa Claus and snowman-shaped cookies and reminded fans, who she calls Lambs, of her passion for the holidays adding that she has left her Christmas tree up past the traditional festive period in the past.
She wrote: “At the most beautiful, comfy room in NY in Re Christmas mode listening to The Christmas song by the legend Nat King [Cole]. (sic)

However, the professional singer made sure she was back to work when called and headed into to the recording studio in the early hours of Saturday morning.
She tweeted: “Now it’s bc to the studio at 4:30 AM but hey I’m happy! (sic)”
Snowstorm Nemo descended on the northeast of the United States on Friday and has left many snowed in with up to three feet of snow.
