It seems to be becoming a bit of a trend for Olympians to star in reality shows ever since the London 2012 Games, and with Rebecca Adlington revealing yesterday that she has officially turned in her swimming towel, odds are that this swimming queen is set for a bright future in TV.
Olympic medallist Rebecca Adlington attended a press conference yesterday to reveal that she has retired from her career in swimming, after winning two bronze medals in this year's Games. She has had a brilliant career, and has picked up four medals (two golds and two bronzes) from the Beijing and London Olympic games.
After hearing this news, bookmakers started up bets on what the Olympian will do next. They have given odds that the swimmer will sign up for this year's Strictly.
Many Olympians have been on our screens this past year, with Louis smith and Victoria Pendleton on Strictly, Beth Tweddle and Luke Campbell on Dancing On Ice, and Tom Daley hosting the ITV show Splash!, which boxer Anthony Ogogo also took part in. They have all shown that Olympians are certainly not one-trick ponies, and have received a lot of new fans from their time in the shows. Will Rebecca soon be joining this list?

Ladbrokes have released odds for Rebecca's involvement in the shows, they have her at 20/1 to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing (she hasn't even been signed yet). They have also got her at 3/1 to join fellow Olympian Tom Daley in Splash!.
William Hill - another bookmakers - have offered the same odds (3/1) on the swimmer going into the Celebrity Big Brother house before the Rio 2016 opening ceremony.
The bookmakers seem to believe that it is more likely that the Olympian will turn to reality shows, rather than compete at the Games in Brazil - which they have put at 8/1.
If the predictions are true, we can't wait to see which show takes Rebecca's fancy. Which show would you like to see the Olympian on?
