Not only is Justin Timberlake releasing a new album this year but he has also been recording a documentary which will take fans behind the scenes of the making of his new record.

The star has said that most if it was recorded before his wedding to actress Jessica Biel, and it will be reminiscent of his 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds.
JT explains to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show: "We touched on the last album with the interludes and the pieces that connect the song to another song we've really gone deep on that part of the process a lot of the songs are really two-in-one.
"For instance, when you're putting a song out like 'Suit & Tie,' it's kind of two different things happening at the same time. I know that there aren't many R&B dance records on the radio and I think we kind of felt.
“It seemed fresh to Timbaland and I and obviously Jay we just felt like yeah, let's put it out. I love the record."
Speaking about the documentary: “Not to give too much away because you know I like surprising the fans, but that little piece of footage is from a documentary we started working on throughout the making of the album, which started last June.
"So it was more a little excerpt from that, which I kinda thought about afterwards. Like, oh, people don't know about the documentary. This seems a little weird."
The singer-songwriter took a break from singing to focus on acting. However JT's comeback is in full swing with him performing for the first time in years at The Super Bowl weekend.
His performance included special guests Jay-Z and Timbaland joining him on stage.
The star's next big gig is at the Grammy Awards this month where he will be performing his brand new single.
Speaking of the upcoming performance, Justin added: "That was kind of a whirlwind, we got a phone call, got confirmed ... I'm like 'oh wait, I should put something together.' So I'm the process of doing something right now."
The Grammys will take place at Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10.
