The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton gave us all a glimpse of what we've been waiting for last week, as she showed off a hint of a baby bump on a London shopping trip. Whilst we were of course super excited to see the first signs of the royal baby, we also fell in love with Kate's chic Zara cape.
In a photo obtained by E! Online, the Duchess is seen on a shopping expedition looking a little fuller in the figure. Dressed in a chic gray tartan cape from her high street favourite Zara, black leggings and brown boots with a brown scarf, Kate was wrapped up warm against the chilly London weather. Underneath those layers the beginnings of a bump definitely look visible, exciting!
The photo was apparently taken earlier this week as Kate went shopping in West London, stopping at a local shoes boutique.
Now that the Duchess has been spotted in the highstreet number the 'Kate Effect' is sure to strike again. Back in 2011 Kate wore a black and nude dress from Zara to a charity concert, promoting the £69.99 piece to sell out within hours.

Kate's current Zara number looks like it's from last season as there's no sign of it on the high street giant's website. There's still plenty of similiar capes out there though and with the cold weather looking set to stick around, it's the perfect cover-up for the chilly weather.
For an almost near indentical look to Kate's, check out this b+ab tartan cape from ASOS at £56. The shearling trim makes it extra cosy.
Jack Wills also has a cover-up that nods to the tartan trend with this red and blue piece, now in the sale for just £79.
Finally Sister Jane's seriously chic velvet cape at Topshop is the perfect alternative for a night-time cover-up, at £55.
