One Direction may have dibs on the official Red Nose Day single for Comic Relief 2013, but that doesn't mean their fellow celebs aren't prepared to do their bit to raise money for the infamous charity.
Former Spice Girl Mel C will be joined by Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey, Olympic athlete Phillips Idowu, Radio 1 DJ Greg James and comedians Jack Dee and Dara O'Brain as they all take part in the annual Red Nose Challenge.
The five celebrities are set to go white water rafting down the Zambezi river in Africa. That's a nailbiting 111km (over 60 miles) over a five-day period.
No wonder they all seem terrified to have signed on for the Red Nose Challenge: Hell and High Water.
But Dara O’Briain explained that, despite the fact he is quaking in his boots, he's prepared to do anything to raise money for Comic Relief 2013:
“When I was first asked to do this challenge I did a quick Google search of Zambezi rafting but after the tenth page of people being instantly flung into the water I turned off the computer."
"But lives can be changed if people put their hands in their pockets in exchange for our misery so that sounds like a fair deal.”
