Henderson is now signed to Sony Records and is set to release her debut album this year, following on from Arthur, Union J and Jahmene Douglas who all signed contracts after leaving the show.

Simon Cowell is said to have called Ella the “next Adele” with hopes that she will follow in Leona Lewis’s footsteps and break America.

The NTA's will take place at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday 23rd, and will air live to ITV.
