With all eyes expected to be on her next month, Alicia Keys is working overtime on her performance of the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl, admitting that she is “rehearsing like a maniac.”
It was confirmed last week that the 'Girl On Fire' diva will be singing the 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the sports event on February 3, taking to the stage shortly before Beyonce kicks off her headline set during the Half Time Show.

Speaking for the first time on her nerve-wracking performance, Alicia admits that while she is “excited”, she is working super hard to perfect the National Anthem, which she reveals will be reworked.
“I'm really excited about it, I can't even lie,” Alicia told Billboard.
“I have to rehearse it totally, as if it's a brand new song, because it is actually a brand new song in the style that I'll deliver it. I'm actually rehearsing it like a maniac.”
Alicia will follow on from the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and even Beyonce who have all performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
Fans will also be looking forward to 'Single Ladies' hitmaker Beyonce to take to the stage, where she is expected to debut her new single for the first time while reports have also suggested that she will be performing with her Destiny's Child bandmates for the first time in eight years.
The Super Bowl XLVII will take place on February 3.
