Kim Kardashian is not the only one who Kris Humphries is locked in a bitter legal dispute with, as the NBA star is reportedly suing former lover Kaya Goldberg for defamation and libel after she accused him of giving her herpes during oral sex, a new report claims.
The initial incident stems from a one night stand in August 2010, just a few months before he started dating reality TV star Kim. Golderberg sued the Brooklyn Nets star for sexual battery after claiming she contracted the incurable venereal disease, Herpes Simplex Virus from him.
Court documents from the case stated: “[Miss Goldberg was] free of any venereal diseases at the time she commenced her intimate relationship with Kris Humphries…Goldberg developed symptoms of herpes about or around four to five days after the first sexual encounter with Humphries,”
They went on: “During their interactions Humphries also performed oral sex on Goldberg….Defendant Humphries did not at any time inform Plaintiff that he was infected with the incurable venereal disease, Herpes Simplex Virus.”
Humphries, who has always denied that he has the STD, filed a suit this week in a Los Angeles, RadarOnline reports.
During a status hearing on Thursday, the basketball player's lawyer allegedly told Judge Ronald Sohigian his client would counterclaim against Goldberg's sexual battery lawsuit. The 28 year-old has claimed his former fling, who filed the lawsuit in 2012, two years after the alleged event, is only doing it for financial gain.
Goldberg though has asked a judge to order him to take a blood test, insisting he gave her the virus following their fling.
