In what will no doubt cheer up Taylor Swift following her split from Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran has praised the songstress for writing all of her own material.
The 'Give Me Love' singer collaborated with Swift on ballad 'Everything Has Changed', which features on Taylor's latest album Red, so Ed was able to see first hand exactly how the country singer pens her famous heartbreak songs.

Ed, who will be joining Taylor on the US leg of her 'Red' tour in March, claims Taylor is the only female to write every single one of her own songs.
“I'm a fan of Taylor's. Not just her work but her ethics and that she writes her hits herself,” Ed told Billboard.com.
“She's probably the only woman in her position in the industry who writes 100 percent of her hits. It's a very cool thing.”
Revealing how their collaboration came about, Ed said: “The song that ended up on her record was pretty much 100 percent her idea in the first place. I did what I could to help but she definitely knows what she's doing.”
Ed also admits that he's a little nervous to head out on tour as he has never played to huge crowds before.

“I don't know what's going to happen. I've never really played to crowds that big before so I'm hoping it goes down well,” he said.
“The longest I've played in a stadium was six songs at Wembley Stadium. That was mental. So doing that with Taylor night after night is definitely going to be an experience.”
We're sure you'll be fine Ed!
