Tonight saw the second installment of Splash with Olympic champion diver Tom Daley valiantly showing the celebs how to dive, but not without warning ‘they could break their backs’.

The star of The Only Way is Essex, Joey Essex took to the diving board with his fellow cast members proudly cheering him on, equipped with some very lovely posters. Joey admitted "the scariest thing about diving is losing". He went for a last minute change to dive from the ten metre board performing a tuck dive. Judge Andy said Joey 'achieved daredevil status" and was then rewarded with a good score of 19.5 out of a possible 30.

41 year old model Caprice looked great in a purple sparkly cut out swimsuit. She suffered some knock backs during preparation, but managed to bounce back to perform a one and a half somersault tuck from the springboard. This dive was high in difficulty but Caprice achieved an impressive score of 24.5 out of 30, increasing her opportunity to be the first female in the semi-finals.

Green fingered Diarmuid Gavin was described by Tom Daley as "not the most technically capable diver". Diarmuid attempted a forward pike fall from the four meter board, which was described by Judge Andy as a "pretty good effort". Though the dive only managed a score of 16.5.

Sports presenter, Charlotte Jackson had a close call with her choice of clothing during practice, so decided on a safe but rather revealing swimsuit. Unfortunately Charlotte suffered two breaks in her big toe which severely lowered her chances of doing any risky dives. Settling on height rather than technique, Charlotte did a pike dive from the highest board any female has dived from during the competition, scoring her a well-earned 22 out of 30.

Olympic skier Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards performed a very confident forward and a half somersault tuck from the ten meter board scoring him a massive 27.5 out of 30. Eddie’s dive earned him another more apt nickname by Vernon Kay as Eddie ‘The Seagull’ Edwards.

Votes from the public were combined with the judges scores to launch Eddie straight through to the semi-finals. Diarmuid and Caprice were the first to leave, followed by Joey, who lost out to Charlotte in the ‘Splash Off’. Charlotte and Eddie join Omid Djalili and Jake Canuso in the semi-finals.
