It's been a week of big changes for Britney Spears who after splitting from her fiance Jason Trawick is now facing her ex's resignation has her co-conservator.
Following their break-up Jason has resigned as Britney's conservator of her person, which once gave him the authority to make decisions about her general well-being, such as food, clothing, travel and medical care.
"The court accepts the resignation [of Trawick]," L.A. Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz stated in court Friday according to People.com.
The judge added that the singer's father, Jamie Spears, "will remain as the sole conservator of her person."
Jason was added as a co-conservator in April 2012, following Jamie's appointment to the role in February 2008. Britney's dad has held control over his daughter and her huge fortune after the singer suffered a psychological breakdown five years ago.
Last night Britney and Jason confirmed that they had ended their engagement, saying in a statement to People that they still have a lot of love for each other.
Britney says: "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."
Trawick added: "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
