'Girls' hitmaker Lena Dunham has revealed that she's adopted a rescue puppy, having headed down to the BARC Shelter in Brooklyn at the beginning of the year.
This may have come as a celebration of the second season of her US sitcom. Dunham took to instagram to show fans a photo the new addition to the family, saying:
"Because no day is stressful enough on its own, meet Lamby Dunham. (My mother) and I sprung him this afternoon.
"He's just 12 pounds of bliss. I have a feeling we're going to have a great life together. Unless you find out I 've killed him in a few weeks!"
Dunham has also been spotted showing off her tattoos at the premiere of the hit TV show 'Girls', which took place on Wednesday.
She reveals an illustration of Eloise tattoed across her back and a cow in a field on her arm as she wore a black strapless jumpsuit.
When asked about her tattoos she says: "I don't necessarily have a covered-in-tattoos personality."
Despite not having a tattoos personality the star is pretty much covered in them, as she said: "It got totally addictive. I'd say I had a very active tattooing period from 17 to 21, and since then, I've gotten a few tiny things, but I haven't been tattooed in a while.'
Speaking of what we can expect in the new season of Girls 'HBO' she told the Today show: 'If you loved what we were doing last season, we're going to push it further.
Looks like a great start to the year for Dunham new pet and premiere all in one week.
