Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reportedly split up over a New Years trip to Mexico and according to a US gossip columnist the on-off couple got into a pretty nasty fight with JB telling the brunette, “don't let the door hit you on the way out.”
The teen dream couple, who've been together for two years, were staying at the El Rancho gated community in Mexico when they reportedly got into a fight and broke up on December 30.
While neither have confirmed the claims, New York Post gossip columnist Cindy Adams alleges the bust up was huge news in the area and that both had fled to different hotels.
Adams claimed the fight was about Justin's relationship with a girl named “Barbara” and that following the tiff Sel headed out to party and was telling all about the heated argument.
She wrote in her coloumn: "Gossip is Selena thought Justin’s still seeing another senorita named Barbara. She got miffed.
"She went to a party. Told partygoers that, while arguing, he said things like: “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
She went on to say Selena was told to return home by her mum following the fight, saying in a phonecall: “Don’t stay there. You’re alone. You have no security. Come home.”

The brunette reportedly flew home on the 30th spending New Year's away from Justin.
The Wizards of Waverley Place actress was certainly feeling reflective on January 2 tweeting: “New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all :),”
It's not the first time JB and Sel have reportedly split. In November the pair went through a rumoured rocky patch after Justin got too close to the Victoria's Secret models, at the Angels Fashion Show where he performed.
His friendship with supermodel Barbara Palvin was reportedly a sore point for Selena, though the Hungarian beauty has denied anything other than friendship with the baby singer.
We had hoped these claims had just been rumours, but with no sighting of the couple since the reported fight, a week ago, it's looking more and more likely that 'Jelena' could be over.
The couple ended rumours of a split last year with a string of loved-up looking dates just days after the claims came out but nothing this time.
