Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery has revealed that she doesn't take the "fanfare" surrounding the show, "too seriously".
Speaking to Parade, the actress who plays Lady Mary on the hit period drama, recalled the moment she found out about the Twitter page dedicated to her character's eyebrows!
She said: "I was told there is a Twitter account called Lady Mary's Eyebrows, which is just bonkers! I tend to not take it all too seriously, but it's incredibly flattering. I'm just very proud to be a part of something that's captured people's hearts."
Michelle, whose character in the show got married to on/of love Matthew Crawley at the beginning of the third series, added that she enjoyed working alongside Hollywood icon Shirley McLaine.
The actress added: "Oh! She was brilliant! It was suddenly very quiet when she left, and we all missed her. Being in the same scenes as Maggie Smith and Shirley MacLaine is something I will never forget."
Whilst the star may be on a break from playing Lady Mary, fans in the US are currently enjoying the start of the third series. So much so that Reuters reported that 7.9 million people tuned into the show on US network PBS to see Lady Mary and Matthew Crawley finally marry.
