She's had a successful career at just 22 with a bag full of films under her belt including the Harry Potter franchise, a dabble in modelling and a place in Oxford University, but Emma Watson doesn't think that's quite enough.
The amiable actress, who is currently taking a year out from studying English at Brown University in Rhode Island, tells Mandrake that she would like to try her hand at writing.
“I would like to adapt something,” the 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' star states. “Maybe, eventually, even an original work.”
Still, she is understandably circumspect about making the transition from acting to writing.
“I would love to think I could write, but I would feel a bit intimidated,” she adds.

“It is definitely something that I’d like to do, though,'' she continued.
Emma, who has landed fashion and beauty campaigns with the likes of Burberry and Lancome, was stopped at JFK airport after agents said she looked too young to fly alone yesterday.
The 22-year-old Harry Potter star revealed in a series of Twitter posts that she was mistaken for an unaccompanied minor when she flew into JFK for the Christmas holidays.
“The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this has happened,” she embarrassingly tweeted.
