Mother accidentally sends picture message to the wrong number and what happens next is brilliant…

Mothers are usually fountains of wisdom, but when it comes to phones, more often than not, that really isn’t the case as one mum proved when she accidentally sent a photo of herself flipping the deuces to the completely wrong number.

Excited to use her new phone, one fun-loving mother thought it would be a good idea to send a picture message of herself mocking her son, but awkwardly she sent it to a total stranger – with comical results.

Instead of letting the woman know that she had sent the message to the wrong person, the recipient, Tristan Carnegie, decided to have a little fun with her. “Don’t swear at me young lady!” Tristan replied.

“Ha ha 🙂 (sic),” the mother responded, still unaware that she’d sent the message to the wrong man. “Erm… This is really weird because I think you have the wrong number,” he wrote, prompting mum to reply, “Is this Steve?” No, ma’am, it wasn’t Steve.

“SURPRISE MOTHERF*CKER,” Carnegie responded, before sending a picture of himself laying in bed and flipping the deuces back at the unknown woman.

Riddled with embarrassment, the mother, who finally realised what she had done, responded with an apologetic text. “I am extremely sorry and devastated. I was meant to send this to my son. I have just got this phone. I appear to of put the wrong number in Apologies (sic),” she wrote.

“I thought this was the start of something special,” Tristan quipped, but little did he know things were about to get seriously weird. Instead of a message back from the accidental sender, he received a reply from her son who looked intimidatingly into the lens whilst chomping down on a donut – and he had a message of his own for Tristan. “Stop textin my mum (sic),” he wrote.

Posting screenshots of the hilarious incident to Twitter, Tristan wrote: “Well this got weird…”

You can say that again.
