Robert Pattinson: 'I Didn't Have A Girlfriend Until I Was 18'

Robert Pattinson claims that he didn't have a girlfriend until he was 18-years-old.

The Twilight star - who gets more than his fair share of female attention these days - says that he was a late bloomer as far as romance and dating is concerned.

"I was a bit of a loner at school, quite anti-social," he recalls.

"My first kiss was when I was 12, but I didn't have a girlfriend until I was 18."

Rob also admitted recently that he isn't the lothario everyone has him pinned down to be.

"If somebody asks me out on a date, I go out with them! But I never get asked," he said.

"And I never know how to ask other people. I'm not good at the whole 'dinner' thing. I'm a bit of a loner.

"I'm boring. I stay home, watch TV and eat a lot of fast food. That's really exciting, isn't it?"
