Britney Spears' Real Singing Voice Revealed!

Britney Spears' live singing voice has made an unwelcome comeback in the form of an old video clip that is doing the internet rounds again.

The footage contains a montage of highlights from one of the singer's 'live' shows and apparently features a recording direct from her microphone.

Basically, it's what Brit is supposed to sound like minus the aural CGI.

The former pop wreck is currently recording a new studio album.

We imagine the vocal wizardry will be back in full affect for it's expected release in early 2009.

If everyone notices on the one song that she sings that she is not dancing, she sings very well. I can't imagine trying to sing and dance at the same time, especially with the energy she has so of course her voice won't sound the best. She is beautiful and has a great voice. Goooo Britney

I know that is why I was surprised to see such a video, she is most of the time a wonderful beautiful singer so I was thinking perhaps something was definetly wrong with the microphone.

What happened to her voice???? She sounds horrible or very tired? Maybe she should rest more??? I never expected this and I like Britney alot so this is impossible??? This sounds so false, geez. Or, maybe they had sound problems??? What was going on???

Obviously she can't sing when she is dancing as much as she is. When she is meant to be singing live then she can sing, but unfortunately people only judge what they see on the outside not what the actual story is. Could you imagine how tired she would be, most people can hardly have enough breath when they sing let alone all the dancing she does.

Oh wow...how obvious is it that her voice has obviously been messed with? I've seen her live and she kicks butt, this is just people trying to mudsling yet again. STOP IT. Jeez.

it's fake! when i went to the dream within a dream tour it sounded nothing like that, cuz one of the songs she was talking to us in the middle, how can u lipsynch that?>

Really? We're ragging on Britney Spears now for lip-syncing? If you thought that ALL this time she was singing for real, and are now suddenly experiencing a disappointing blow to your psyche as a result of hearing this...then you need a serious dose of reality. Besides....I saw this lame, tired ass old story like 3 years ago when it first came out. I saw 10 others like it before then. You're played out. Old. Crusty.

What a crock lol! Or recorded when she was rehearsing. But still, you try dancing and singing AND trying to catch your breath at the same time and pull it off, go on I dare you! Trying to do those 3 things at once can't be easy.

I agree with all of you. It's somethin' known to all that brit dances a lot and gets tired that's why she sings like that. It is also true that when she sings standing only in front of the microphone she does it great, they should check all her recordings and videos. But no more excuses It's Britney Bitch! She doesn't care. She has her fans, us, backing her up all the time. Go Britney!!!!

Of course she sounds bad when she's lip synching. She's just vocalizing the words so her mouth moves realistically. I'm sure if she was in a studio singing the vocal tracks, it would sound much better (and she is a fairly decent live singer, nothing special but not notably bad either).

Lol I love the way people are still trying to defend her: If you cant sing and dance at the same time then you're not good enough to be a performer!! This is her real voice without any autotuning, reverb or effects, anyone with studio experience can tell you how fake her CD recordings are. Face it people, she cant sing!!

that is a fake whoever recorded that put the voice in or sang it to the camera y britney was singing it because ive been and seen britney spears live 4 times and she doesnot sound like that. so whoever made up tha voice you sound like a strangled cat and need to learn how to sing., Britney is fab at singing so stop making her look stupid x
