Kevin Jonas: 'I Want To Marry Young'

The eldest Jonas Brother is on the look-out for a bride...

Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is looking for a bride so he follow his parents’ marriage example and walk down the aisle young.

The rocker's minister father and mother wed when they were just 21 and 20 respectively, and they've just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.

And 20-year-old Kevin, who recently pledged to stay a virgin until he marries, insists he's keen to become a young groom.

He tells USA Today: "What happened to the idea of getting married young? I don't understand why people are so afraid of getting married.

"I think when you find true love you should go out there and get it."

The curly-haired Jonas and his two brothers and bandmates, Joe and Nick, have all taken to wearing purity rings as symbols of their commitment to stay celibate until after marriage.

  • OMG yah i do agree that like you should be able to get marriied young like it's your life if u wanna waste it on dating then dumping and crushes then your not really getting anywhere in liffeexcept another new maan or women. If you get married then ur bound to have a even greater time with the person u actually LOVE!! So i say yah go for Kevin but not soo much Joe he's mine lol!!!!

  • This is a great choice on their part. Althought it might be tough with all the publicity they are making in news these days with girls, most of it is not real. Im suprised to hear this because im 17 and i know that people my age loose it fast. They have made it this far and i, a jonas brothers fan am glad to hear that they are all going by their religion and views as brothers & a family i hope they soon find the girl they are looking for (L) goo kevin <3

  • marring young is okay, most marriages don't last now a days anyways but most young adult in this day and age aren't ready money or mentally wise to get married at 22 or 23 or around those ages. It's not 1944 when that was the nor. Plus lots of kids that age are on drugs. Marriage should be based on love not teenage hormone. I love the Jonas Brothers and Kevin is my favorite but they were raised by 2 of the few adults now a days that got married young because of love. My parents were married youn
