Chris Tarrant Gives Wife Half His Fortune In Divorce

After a rocky start Chris Tarrant and ex-wife Ingrid have shown Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills how to divorce with a bit of dignity.

Ingrid has been granted £12 million - thought to be half of Tarrant’s fortune - in an “amicable” divorce settlement.

Reports of TV presenter Chris’ affairs were repeatedly splashed over the papers by a incensed Ingrid when their marriage originally broke-down in 2006, but she’s been able to finally the public war of words behind her.

She confirmed yesterday, “Yes, we have settled, I am just happy to get my life back. I'm not going to say anything more."

Now , if only Heather Mills would say the same!

A spokesperson for Chris said, “Chris is pleased to have settled with Ingrid. That part of his life is over and he is pleased to have reached an amicable agreement."

  • Mills has never shown any dignity.Macca was gravy-train she and sisters were riding for all it was worth. Sorry: 12 Million Pounds and a cheating husband? Not even comparable. Receiving 200 Million for a marriage lasting less than 4 years...?Even if this harpy HAD RECEIVED 200 Million Sterling-she'd be b*tching to have more of ' "the planes, all the diamonds," ' and of course: MORE MONEY. Hey: just how much of promised " 80% " HAS been donated even pledged to ' " charit

  • Hey Suzanne, We all know the only charity Ms. Mega-Mills is true to is herself. Bea only getting $70,000 a year from Paul and she is not to supplement any of her 24.8 Million towards her daughter, I guess she needs to save that for lavish parties and homes and fine wines that she doesn't drink. What a sad excuse for a MUM..

  • Hey Diane, the old saying, 'Charity begins...and ends at home' certainly applies to Mills. Such a juvenile stunt going through airport in New York with that hilarious wig on her head.Guess the hair stylist didn't do the job with the blonde weaves in Court. As if no one could recognize that perennial pleasant expression she always has and the ' entourage.' Hey: She might find a Beatle wig at a souvenir show.

    • Hey Suzanne, you have me laughing hysterically. I think she's trying to do one up on Nancy, sending Bea home with a nanny so she can go on to L.A. to find her New Love Connection, we all know she won't have to look further than the Sunset Strip, any old corner would do for her...

    • Well she DOES know something about "Strip"-ping(!) we all know THAT! Sunset(s)..? that's another matter. Clouds are always on the horizon; directly overhead or the dark of the Moon!

  • Yeah I guess word has it that she is Judging the Miss America Pagent, I'm sure she'll play that to the hilt, big charity campaigner that she is... Gee is she going to stay at the McCartney mansion in Beverly Hills, I'm sure she feels she's entitled to it.

  • She's judging the Miss USA Pageant, not Miss America with some fellow suspended-allegedly-in the NFL ,among others.Donald Trump's pageant. Donald the Trumpet is getting a strumpet to critique beauty and morals of young American females. Love to hear what HER question would be to finalists. That won't happen since won't be watching. What?!? With HER judging it?Any credence it had just went out the window.

    • Hello Georgy Jr.! Am I in trouble..? No the reason not watching is because I already crowned you as the winner while Lady Goldigger was flying "a" Class-you don't want to know what the "a" stands for(!)- somewhere over the Continental Divide.
