Westlife have snubbed Brian McFadden’s attempts to rejoin the band for a reunion tour.

The Irish boyband are clearly still miffed at McFadden leaving the hitmakers to launch a solo career - a move which stalled before it even started.

Former bandmate Kian Egan tells the Sunday Mirror, “He left the group and you can't expect us to take him back. I told him, 'You're never going to be in Westlife again. Accept it!'"

A Brian-less Westlife kicked off a new tour on Friday.

  • Ha! I'm glad Westlife snubbed Brian! Good on them! The only reason he wants back into Westlife is because his solo career has been a big flop and he originally said he was leaving to look after and spend time with his then-wife Kerry and little girls. Westlife seems better without Brian anyway in my opinion. He's talented, but he's also a loser.

  • hi i'm from Lesotho, i'm the biggest fan of westlife, but guys i would love to tell you the truth, WESTLIFE WITHOUT BYAN MCFADDEN IS NO MORE WESTLIFE, yes you are trying because songs like us against the world are really rocking.   • i love Brian, i am sad that he had left but good on the rest of the band. You lot have put him in his place. He did alot ostupid things back then and he has to learn from the mistakes. Though, because he is so talented and hot these guys ahve to take him back some time.
